Death Crew 77

Here is the latest offering from the Bloody Beetroots, who have now formed (launched?) Death Crew 77, their quasi-cerebral "anarco-musical army" [sic] apparently dedicated to, among other things, destroying Nazi iconography and quoting Baudelaire.

Doomsday Device

W E posted about this a little while ago. Monster tune from Drop the Lime...

Drop the Lime - Doomsday Device

Make sure to stop in at iTunes and buy the release!

Jokers of the Scene x Les Gillettes

J O K E R S of the Scene have a new remix on Les Gillettes latest single, which is out now on Kitsune and features remixes from Boy 8 Bit and Aston Shuffle as well. The Jokers remix is definitely the darkest and biggest track on the release--we highly recommend...

W E ' R E late on this, so you probably know by now that Etienne de Crecy's Welcome EP is INSANE. It came out last week on Pixadelic Records and features a collab with the Bloody Beetroots as well as remixes from Pablo Decoder and Global Warming. We're including the Pablo Decoder remix on the forthcoming Youngblood mix, but since we like it so much, we thought we'd share it with you here as well.

Choonsday (In No Order of Importance)

W E didn't post anything yesterday, so today we have two exciting new tracks today to make up for the lost time!

First up a brand new one from L.A.'s tallest DJ, Them Jeans, whose Beef EP is out now on Philadelphia label Crossfaded Bacon. Also, we should add that Them Jeans' remix on So Shifty's Wine Touch Clap EP (also out on Crossfaded Bacon) is a monster as well.

Them Jeans - Flying Rats (Original Mix) (Mediafire 320)

You can buy the Them Jeans' Beef EP at:

iTunes (Only $1.99!)
Turntable Lab

Secondly,  L-Vis 1990's remix of  Delphic's latest single, Halcyon comes highly recommended. It's just the type of rubbery bass-banger we expect (and love) from the Mad Decent / Nightshifers affiliate. Srsly don't sleep on this one.

Delphic - Halycon (L-Vis 1990 Remix)

Champion Sound

D I S C O D U S T posted this Hey Champ remix of Priors yesterday, with a little blurb about French house vet Raw Man. The Hey Champ remix is so good that we just had to share it here. It's got a bit of a different vibe than the other tracks and mixes we usually post--think Fred Falke, Lifelike, etc.--but they've breathed new life into one of my favorite indulgences tracks of last summer. Highly recommended.

Priors - What You Need (Hey Champ Remix) [dl via Discodust]

And all that talk about Raw Man reminded us of a tune of his that came out on Crydamoure a long, long time ago, and was definitely a formative track for the two Youths:

Fresh Biscuit

Here is the video for Femme en Fourrure's new single "Plump Bisquit", which is out soon on Friday on Top Billin with a remix from Sharkslayer.

Recommended for fans of Renaissance Man, Zombie Disco Squad, Harvard Bass, Edu K, L-Vis 1990 etc...

It's Not Exactly New, but...

Momma's Boy aka Mikix the Cat is one of our favorite producers. He has huge releases and remixes out on both Sound Pellegrino (as Momma's Boy) and Trouble&Bass (as Mikix the Cat). Given that we posted Hostage's Essential mix yesterday, we thought it would be fitting to share with you the Momma's Boy remix as well.

Mind Reader

I remember a long while back, sometime in early 2009, we were DJing Radio Zero and a friend of ours told us about this new artist called Kingdom that he was working with. Given this friend's track record, it should hardly be a surprise that Kingdom is now poised to be one of the biggest buzz-artists of 2010.

Kingdom's latest release, Mind Reader, is out now on Fool's Gold (digital) and Acephale (exclusive, limited edition vinyl).

If you haven't already grabbed it elsewhere, here is L-Vis 1990's redo:

Kingdom - Mind Reader (L-Vis 1990 Remix) [dl]

Hostage Essential Mix

The fellas at Nightshifters want to make sure you get a chance to listen to Hostage's Live Essential Mix, recorded in Edinburgh with the inimitable Annie Mac. The mix includes tracks from Mightyfools, Lee Mortimer & LBL, Sound of Stereo, Boris Dlugosch, DJ Manaia and, of course, Hostage himself.

Download link for the mix (plus a few treats) after the jump.
